Narberth responded well from last week's shocking first round exit in the Senior Cup by beating Neyland 5-2 at home.

In a weekend where high scoring games seemed commonplace, the Bluebirds had no problems disposing of the away side who are capable of being tricky opponents.

Mathew Price was on song by netting a hat-trick, while Marc Hughes and Aled Thomas also got in on the act.

St. Clears were also in the goals over the weekend as they scored four against Hakin United. Unfortunately for the home side, the visitors scored twice as many to condemn them to their fifth defeat of the season, leaving them third from bottom overall.

Sean Seymour Davies was the first to bang one home for the home team, before James Howe and Steve Thomas also got their names on the scoresheet, the latter bagging a brace against a team capable of winning the league this year.

Tenby travelled to Hundleton and showed their class by thrashing the home side 7-1. Sam Christopher and Jordan Richards led the way with a brace apiece, with Billy Vaughan and Darryl Mansbridge netting the others as the visitors dominated from start to finish.

There were plenty of goals at Saundersfoot, too, as the Sports held Merlins Bridge to a 3-3 draw, their third such result of the season.

Jason Bridges netted the first for the home side, before Rhys Hewson and Chris Millward helped ensure a share of the points against the Wizards.

Kilgetty were in league action despite the first round of the Second Division Cup getting underway, although they had a day of woe at home as they lost 9-0 to Clarbeston Road.

Carew bowed out at the first hurdle of the cup after losing 2-0 at home to Prendergast Villa.

In division three, meanwhile, Narberth seconds went down 5-1 at Cosheston, with David Rice the sole scorer for the visitors.

Lawrenny entertained Broad Haven and were held to a 1-1 draw by the visitors. Owen James got the home team's only goal against a side placed five places above them in the league. The result leaves them second from bottom a point below Manorbier United who won their second game of the season following a riveting clash at the Clicketts against Tenby seconds.

The visitors won 5-4 as Jake Webster scored twice, with Ben and James Hall and Joey McKeown adding the others.

Carew seconds had a good win at home after disposing of St. Ishmaels 3-2. The result was their fifth win of the season as Tom Arthur, Scott Cowper and George Wilkins scored the goals.

St. Clears' seconds were victorious at Neyland seconds as they won 2-1, while Pendine slammed in five against Milford Athletic, although the away side scored seven.

Julian Blewitt was on target to net the Gulls' first, before Robin Husselbee, Sam Cole, Ricky Hunt and Roger Thomas all scored.

Saundersfoot Sports' seconds earned a hard fought win at Prendergast Villa as they beat the home side 2-1, with Sam Reeve scoring both goals, while St. Florence had a day to forget after losing 5-1 at home to West Dragons, with Phil Evans providing the only highlight for the home side.

Kilgetty seconds fared the same way as their first team as they lost at Haverfordwest Cricket Club, although they did score twice through Nial Rolfe, while Narberth hosted Carew and lost the battle of the third teams 4-2 as Gavin James scored twice for the Bluebirds' third string.

Adam Muskett, Sam Harts and D.J Bradbury all scored for the visitors.

Finally, Lawrenny seconds earned a good win at Camrose seconds, winning 2-0 as Tim and Sam Mills both scored for the away side.
