After a weekend of weather dodging last week Pendine were back in the thick of it again on Saturday as their match was postponed, yet all is not lost for the rain attracting club.
They may have played just nine league games, but they have won five, giving them a grand total of 15 points. Nothing to write home about, yet compared to Herbrandston seconds, who lay one place above them, it's a pretty good record, for Herbie have one more point having played twice as many games, proving that statistics can mean one thing, but they don't tell all the story.
Some games were able to take place, though, and Narberth had a good trip to Solva, defeating the home side 6-0. Solva is a tricky place to go in the depths of winter, the elevated position making it prone to mood swings from the elements, yet it appeared the higher the pitch, the more the Bluebirds soar, as they were unstoppable over the course of the game.
Sean Pemberton left with fond memories of the ground as he finished with a hat-trick, while the other goals were scored by Jordan Richards, Jordan Williams and Morgan Preece.
St. Clears also had a good away trip as they beat Angle 2-0.
In beating the home team 4-2, Tenby secured their second win of the season, a morale boosting win that will increase their confidence as the season enters the crucial stages and determine whether they can avoid relegation or not.
They are just above the relegation zone at present, but if Billy Vaughan keeps knocking in the goals alongside Gareth Warlow and Jerome Mansbridge, then they may just avoid the drop into the division below.
Not such a good away day for Kilgetty, however, as their trip to Milford United ended in defeat.
The visitors went down 4-1 against the former Welsh League club, with Jack Franklyn scoring their only goal.
Better news for Narberth seconds, though, as they hosted Lawrenny and beat them 4-2 thanks to a brace of goals by Tony Evans with Callum O'Connell and Josh Layzell also getting in on the mix.
For Lawrenny, the goals were scored by Tom Lewis and Jimmy Thomas.
Meanwhile, St. Clears' seconds lost 1-0 at home to Fishguard Sports, with all other games postponed.
