The Tenby 10K event held on Sunday saw 504 runners take part in the event on what turned out to be a blustery day in the resort.
“Thankfully the weather cleared in time for the start with the runners winding through the town before heading out to penally and then back into Tenby,” said race director Simon Scurrell.
“Once again the event was very well supported, both out on the course, and with a large number of people gathering in Tudor Square to welcome the runners home.
“There was a real family atmosphere with many young children joining their parents for the last few yards before crossing the finish line,” he continued.
The overall mens winner was team GB athlete Josh Griffiths in a time of 32 minutes and 33 seconds.
The overall ladies winner was Michelle Cole representing 3M Gorseinon Running Club in a time of 41 minutes and 27 seconds.
“We would obviously like to thank our sponsors: Howies, WP Lewis and Sons, Run and Become, and Bwlchygroes Farm Feeds for their continued support of the event,” added Simon.
The race was organised and hosted by the Taf Running and Orienteering Team, St. Clears (www.trots.org.uk)
