Talented Seasiders open-side flanker Alex Thomas had the call up recently to represent the Welsh Academicals in their recent fixture at Llandovery College.

This is a great honour for Alex and for Tenby United RFC and everyone involved in the Club and the Town are extremely proud of Alex and wish him well with future games.

Despite the ‘Accies’ narrowly losing the game against the very well drilled Llandovery College by 17 points to 10, Alex still impressed the coaches and onlookers with a solid individual performance wearing the No7 Jersey.

He worked well in attack and defence and caught the eye with his high tackle rate and through the many turnovers that he earned his side.

Alex is testament that hard work and dedication does pay off as he has come through the Minis and Swifts in Tenby United, and is currently playing for the Seasiders youth and 1st xv and is certainly going to be a regular in the 1sts in the future.

The club wish Alex all the best for the future and will support him all the way.
