THERE are still six places available for any interested youngsters aged eight or above to benefit from weekly Royal Yachting Association sail training sessions at Tenby Sailing Club.

Registration can be done in the Club at 6pm this evening, April 10th.

Training will start on Wednesday April 17th at 5.30pm.

Nina Marsh and Amelia Nuttall completed seven of the 12 dinghy racing races in the Royal Yachting Association Youth National Championships at Weymouth last week, putting them respectively in 13th and 17th positions.

At home the opening of the dinghy racing season was delayed by Storm Kathleen, the first weekend races for the Dr White Cup being rescheduled for Saturday, April 13th.

Eight teams thoroughly enjoyed last Saturday’s Ex-Commodores Quiz.

The ‘Smart Alecs’ finished a worthy second, just six points behind Team ‘Twp’.

May 11th will see the next Battle of Wits.

Last month, Tenby Sailing Club Commodore Blake Shaw gratefully received a cheque for £100 from Joseph Fry, on behalf of St. Catherine’s Island and Fort.
