Saundersfoot Sports Club (sponsored by LG Leisure and Dave Wooles Decorating) played away to the Power Station Club on Monday evening and were 4-1 winners.

First frame saw captain Glyn Davies play M. Stanley. What can be said about Glyn this week? Well, he was a different player, playing his best game for a long time, potting well (including a 22 break) to win comfortably (about time!).

Second frame saw Dave Wooles play P. White. Dave started slowly, but soon got going. However, he was up against a very good player and this proved the case as Dave was eventually beaten by the time the frame got to the green.

Third frame saw a returning Steve Cook play M. Rees. Steve, a bit rusty, was slow out of the blocks, but soon got into gear, potting well, still however Steve found himself 20 pts behind, mid-frame, but a timely 26 break late on, seemed to have the beating of his opponent, which proved the case.

Fourth frame saw Steve Barlow play L. Goldsmith. This frame was bogged down early on as Steve battled to find some form. This was a frame of misses than pots. Eventually after more than an hour, the frame was taken by Steve on the black (not the best exhibition of snooker).

Final frame saw Darren Morgan play M. John. Darren was not on form and it showed, missing sitters, but he dug in, and this scrappy frame also went to the black ball, which Darren won.
