Saundersfoot Sports Club (sponsored by LG Leisure and Get Stuffed Pizza) played their latest home league match on Monday evening against Black Rabbit B, from Pembroke, and were 3-2 winners.

The first frame saw captain Glyn Davies take on D. Lewis. Surprisingly, Glyn carried on his form of last week, as by the midway mark he was 40 points up, which included a solid 23 break, and despite his opponent coming back late on, he had too much for the Rabbit man.

The second frame saw Darren Morgan play E. Power. Darren started well, opening up a small lead, but unlike last week was up against a good player. Neverthless, Darren was too good and even surpassed Glyn's break with a 24-point knock to win comfortably.

The third frame saw Steve Barlow play M. Broxton. Steve started cautiously (as he normally does), but was in determined mood. However, his opponent was no mug and kept frustrating Steve with his safety play. The Rabbit man was 25 points up by mid-frame, leaving it all to do for Steve, who hadn't been left much, but was starting to battle back. Indeed, as the frame got to the colours, he was only two points adrift and three as they got to the pink, which he potted to take the lead. It meant now that it was all on the black, which unfortunatelly he was unable to get.

The fourth frame saw Dave Wooles play K. Williams jnr. Dave started slowly, but it was evident that the Rabbit man was in good form as his first visit to the table produced a 26 break. Dave was clearly under the cosh, as the Rabbit man was potting everything and leaving him nothing, and he eventually succumbed on the blue.

The final frame saw Mark Cleevely play Keith Williams Snr. Mark was in inspired form, potting well and leaving his opponent nothing. He continued to pot well throughout, closing out the frame comfortably.
