The final day of the cricket season provided plenty of drama to whet the appetites of all cricket supporters in the county with titles decided and relegation confirmed with a few surprises thrown in; who for example, would have thought Llanrhian would have survived after being rooted to the foot of division one for the majority of the season?
Whitland's season finished with a loss as a Simon Holliday inspired Haverfordwest to beat them by nine wickets.
Having bowled the Borderers out for 152, with Jonathan Thomas top scoring with a fine 69, the Town's batsmen went to town on the visiting bowlers, with Holliday scoring 81 not out, to condemn them to their eighth defeat of the year.
Narberth fared just as badly after Cresselly won by 32 runs. Batting first, the visitors to the Lewis Lloyd ground were skittled out for 190 after Wayne Howells took 5-27, despite 54 from Matthew Morgan and 41 from Simon Cole.
Richie Adams then scored 26 in reply, Mike Scale 28 and Simon Cole 35, but after solid starts no-one could go on for that match-winning score as Bobby Webb and Sam Harts shared five wickets.
Rhys Davies inspired Carew to their fifth win of the season as they won by nine wickets at Llangwm.
The talented all-rounder took 3-31 to help bowl the home side out for 107 before hitting 54 not out alongside James Hinchliffe's unbeaten 34. Star man with the ball, however, was Steffan Davies, who took 5-12.
Lawrenny survived relegation, but lost their final match of the season as Neyland won by 84 runs. The visitors posted 221-8, with Jamie Lewis and Alistair Edwards taking three wickets apiece, before bowling out Lawrenny for 137 in reply.
Only Brad Jenkins and Ian Jenkins got to grips with the champions' bowling as they scored 35 and 21, respectively.
In division two, Whitland seconds provided the shock of the day after they beat champions Saundersfoot by three wickets at home.
Had Saundersfoot won, they would have gone through the season unbeaten in the league, yet despite posting a reasonable 157 all out, the home side prevailed.
Geraint Phillips starred with both bat and ball, taking 3-37 and hitting 33, while Paul Webb took 3-11 before Geraint Jones hit 30.
For Saundersfoot, Danny Caine scored 77 and James Caine 29, before taking 3-48, with Chris Parker also chipping in with two wickets.
Had Pembroke batted fist against Johnston they may well have secured enough points for promotion, but they bowled the visitors out for 96, before winning by eight wickets. It meant they fell two points short of finishing above Cresselly seconds who won at home to Burton.
Rob Weston was the star of the show for Pembroke, taking 5-45, while Jonathan Rogers took 3-25 before Phil Hay's 36 not out saw them home.
Brothers Mathew and Ryan Lewis were the star performers for Cresselly seconds as they won by 93 runs.
The demon bowlers took 4-32 and 5-39, respectively, after Ryan's 23 helped them score 212 all out. Andrew Harris was the main protagonist with the bat, hitting a fine 105.
Carew seconds went down at home to Haverfordwest by five wickets after being bowled out for 134. Lewis Hicks scored 31 and Matthew Phillips 21, but no-one else could get going, although Johnnie Harries did take 3-19 in the reply.
Stackpole prevailed at home against Lamphey after bowling the visitors out for 140. Hywel Gibbs top scored with 44 for the away side, while Haydn Cole played yet another reverse sweep in his entertaining 38, but no-one else could cope with Richard Mackay's 5-30, while Chris Gibbs and Darrell Willington took two wickets each.
In reply, Josh Davies scored a sublime 65 and John Williams a breath-taking 34 as Gibbs took 4-21.
Narberth seconds finished in style with a three-wicket win at Pembroke Dock as they chased down 178 to win.
The home side batted first and scored 177-8 after Mike Williams and Ben Hughes both took two wickets, while in reply, Hughes hit 67, Ben Quartermaine 40 and Owain Richards 31.
For the Dock, Glyn Griffiths struck an unbeaten 84 alongside his 2-28, with Jamie White hitting 21 not out, while Nick Daley took 3-49.
Saundersfoot seconds lost at home to Herbrandston by 10 wickets after being bowled out for 186.
David Parcell hit 34 and Simon Stanford 33, with Danny James striking 34, but it was all in vain as the visiting batsmen made hay.
Kilgetty just missed out on being crowned division four champions after they beat St. Clears by a massive 205 runs.
The visitors were indebted to Jake Marsh's 101 and Ian Poole's 60 for the bulk of their 251-6, with Jack Parkinson hitting an unbeaten 25.
Parkinson was in the wickets, too, as he took 4-10 as St. Clears' relegation was confirmed after being bowled out for 46, with Andrew Edwards top scoring after hitting 21.
Neyland seconds were the team to pip them as they beat Carew thirds by nine wickets.
Carew were all out for 155 as Mark Hicks struck 83 and Harry Cook 40 not out, but despite Greg Morris taking a wicket, the home side ran out easy winners.
Cresselly thirds lost at home to Fishguard after being bowled out for 107, despite James Oakley hitting 26, and were relegated as a result.
Better news for Lawrenny seconds, though, as they won by seven wickets at Hook after chasing down their 140-9.
Division five champions Hundleton were beaten for the fist time all season as Llanrhian seconds beat them by five wickets.
Hundleton were all out for 120, despite Paul Edwards's 25 not out, Paul Fox's 30 and Liam Williams's 26.
Edwards did take 3-20 in the chase, but it wasn't enough.
Pembroke Dock seconds drew at Haverfordwest fourths after scoring 123-8 and reducing the home side to 112-8.
Andrew Wood took 3-19 for the Dock and John Davies 3-20, while Chris Boyett scored 60.
Pembroke seconds finished on a high as they won by nine wickets at Herbrandston.
Andrew Price and Lewys Wilkes took three wickets each for the visitors and both were in the runs in the successful reply.
Narberth thirds lost at home to St. Ishmael's seconds by 76 runs after they were dismissed for 70 in reply to the visitors' 146-10.
Liam Phillips took 3-13 for Narberth and Kyle Quartermaine 2-19 before he smashed 25 in the doomed reply.
Meanwhile, Stackpole seconds condemned Camrose and Spittal to division six after winning by five wickets.
The home side scored 127-5, with the visitors passing it for five wickets down.
Finally, in division six, Lamphey lost at home to Llechryd after being bowled out for 62.
Tim Sharp scored 15 for the Stags, while Mal Llewellyn took 3-6, but they just didn't score enough runs and the visitors won by four wickets.
Meanwhile, in division six, Kilgetty seconds didn't have a game.
