The weather may have been dry, but it was raining runs at Narberth as the home side won by 62 runs despite Lawrenny scoring 249 all out.

In the majority of cases that score would have been enough to steal a win, yet this was no ordinary game as Narberth racked up 311-2 after Marc Hughes and Richie Adams both scored centuries, the latter scoring his second ton in consecutive weeks.

Such was their dominance that the two centurions put on 256 for the first wicket, with Hughes eventually scoring 155, including 17 fours and five 6s, while Adams scored his second ton of the season in reaching 126 not out, including 17 fours and two 6s.

Lawrenny are no slouches when batting and went for the runs, but fell short as spinners Ian Hughes and Matthew Johns shared six wickets, taking four and two, respectively, despite Steve Lewis and Brad Jenkins smashing 55 apiece.

Whitland were also in the runs as they scored 290-4 at home to bottom team Llanrhian.

The Borderers eventually won by 109 runs as the visitors were dismissed for 181. In the Whitland innings, Steffan James was the undisputed star of the show scoring 105, with 13 fours and two 6s, while Paul Davies added 61, but before his fireworks Byland Blain with 47 and Ed John with 52 put on 106 for the first wicket.

David Dunfee then got to work on the visiting batsmen, taking 3-21, with Jonathan Thomas and Mark Lee both taking a brace of wickets apiece to condemn Llanrhian to their third defeat of the season.

Cresselly secured their first win of the season to climb up the table after disposing of Haverfordwest at the Racecourse. The home side may have been without some key players, but they would still have hoped to score more than 121 all out after Ryan Lewis took 3-24, Steffan Jenkins 3-28 and Bobby Webb 3-25.

In reply, Phillip Williams scored 36 and Mathew Morgan 55 with 10 fours before he was caught and bowled by his father Nigel as the visitors won by eight wickets.

Carew slipped into the relegation zone after losing at home to Neyland.

The home side scored a respectable 225-9, with Tim Hicks reaching 64, Rhys Davies 43 not out and Ian Sefton 39, but the visitors passed it for the loss of seven wickets after Andrew Miller scored 51, Patrick Bellerby 63 and Ashley Sutton 50.

Meanwhile, Llangwm lost both openers for ducks against St. Ishmaels, but still won after a magnificent 132 not out by Steve Inward, who has returned to play for the season before jetting off to Australia again.

They reached 222-8 and dismissed the visitors for 180 for their first win of the season.

Whitland seconds weren't as successful as their firsts as they went down by nine wickets at Cresselly seconds after three wickets by Matthew Lewis and Tom Arthur helped dismiss the visitors for 99, with Paul Webb (24) and Geraint Phillips (28 not out) the only players to score more than 20.

Their bowlers were made to toil, too, as the home side brushed aside the score for the loss of one wicket as Harry Thomas scored 39 not out and Scott Arthur 37.

Pembroke beat Burton after the visitors to Crickmarren were bundfled out for 180 thanks to Jonathan Rogers' 4-47.

The home side then passed the total for the loss of five wickets after an unbeaten 41 by Ceri Brace, Rob Weston's 35 and James Skeels's 46 not out.

Carew seconds were at Stackpole and dismissed the home side for 169 as Hugh Davies top scored with 40 and Josh Davies grabbed 34 as they chased 247-2

David Rees was the hero of the day, scoring a brilliant 129 not out, while Dafydd Bevan scored an unbeaten 55.

Saundersfoot may have been without five regulars, but they were still too strong for Lamphey who battled hard for their 162-8 after David Blackwell scored 35, Hywel Gibbs 33 and Pete McGilloway 25.

Danny Caine added to his 4-56 with an unbeaten 45 to seal the win after Paul Mansbridge hit the same, before Phil Jones with 34 not out and Simon wood with 29 helped them to an easy win.

Narberth seconds went down at Llechryd after scoring 126-9 in their 40 overs. Richard Howells with 26 not out, Owen Richards with 20 and Dan Hughes with 20 were the only batsmen to get to grips with the home attack who had no trouble knocking off the runs as Steve Smith scored 100 of the 127 they needed.

Saundersfoot seconds beat Crymych at home by 15 runs after scoring 137 all out and dismissing the visitors for 122.

David Parcell top scored for the home side with a fine 59, while Kevin Sykes and George McBeth both took three wickets.

Pembroke Dock amassed 227-5 at home to Johnston seconds after Jake Davies scored 57, Glyn Griffiths 79 not out and Nick Daley 32, but they could only restrict the away side to 161-8 in reply, with Griffiths and Luke Murray both taking a brace of wickets.

Carew thirds provided a shock after beating high flyers Kilgetty convincingly by dismissing the visitors for 72 and passing it for the loss of three wickets.

Jake Marsh with 21 was the only decent score of note for the visitors after Jacob Knox took 5-26 and Greg Morris 3-8.

Cresselly thirds were held to a draw at Neyland after the home side scored 230-4, with the visitors reaching 151-7 at the close thanks to Steve Wilkins's 46.

St. Clears also went down after losing by eight wickets at Burton seconds.

The Saints were dismissed for 113, with Nathan Evans's 32 the highlight and Andrew Thomas's 24 not too far behind, yet they weren't at the races on the day.

Narberth thirds had an eight-wicket win at home to Herbrandston seconds after passing the visitors' 166 with ease.

Paul Phillips was the difference after his fine 103 not out helped them win alongside Emyr Jenkins's 25 and Chris Spratt's 28.

Pembroke Dock seconds moved up to fourth in the league with a two-wicket win at Llanrhian after restricting the home team for 128-8 and passing it for the loss of eight wickets, while Hundleton secured their seventh win of the season following an eight-wicket win against Pembroke.

The visitors batted first and scored 135-8, with Don Patel and Jack Harries both scoring 33, but 79 from Luke Williams and 34 from Craig Williams was enough to see them home.

Meanwhile, Stackpole seconds were restricted to a draw at St. Ishmaels after the home side scored 241-8, with the visitors reaching 184-7 after Roger Lewis scored 58, Phil Tallett 38 and Marcus Adie 33.

In division six, Kilgetty seconds let a good opportunity slip after posting Lamphey 133 to win after scoring 132 all out thanks mainly to Rob Beynon's 23 and Harry Phillip's 20.

The visitors were then in trouble on 34-8 after Beynon took 2-25, Harry Phillips 2-27 and Mike May 4-25, but an unbeaten 47 by Tim Sharps helped save the day for them as they inched their way over the line.

Crymych seconds lost to their counterparts from Hundleton after Dean Williams and Robson Walkey both took three wickets in dismissing them for 125. The visitors lost eight wickets in reaching their total as Steve John scored 53 and Williams 53 not out.
