Narberth's early season form continued on Saturday as they had the better of the game against Carew on the Lewis Lloyd ground.
Batting first, Marc Hughes and Richie Adams found the going relatively easy against the visiting attack as they put on 92 for the first wicket, with Hughes hitting 47 and Adams 43. Kyle Quartermaine was also in the runs with a belligerent 26 and Mike Scale struck 35 alongside Daniel Hughes's 28 to ensure a competitive total.
Carew's Tom Davies picked up 4-55.
In reply, only skipper Robert Hicks with an unbeaten 49 and James Hinchliffe with 31 not out got to grips with the home team attack as they reached 133-5.
Whitland bounced back from their defeat to Narberth last week with a resounding win over former champions Cresselly.
Cresselly batted first and were dismissed for 95 against the home team as David Dunfee once again terrorised with his pace and accuracy to take 5-42.
Whitland lost five wickets in reply, but an innings of 29 by Paul Davies helped steady the ship to enable them to complete their second win of the campaign.
Haverfordwest stay top of the division after a two-wicket win away at St. Ishmaels, while Lawrenny hung on for a draw at Llangwm after the home side amassed 218-10, with Stephen Lewis taking four wickets, while Brad Jenkins and Phil Cole grabbed two apiece.
In reply, the visitors could only muster 113-8 as Ollie Davies and Andrew Harries shared four wickets, with James Buckle top scoring after a plucky innings of 24.
In the other game in division one, Llanrhian drew with Neyland.
Whitland's second string made it a good weekend for the club as they travelled to Stackpole and beat the home side by 44 runs. Whitland batted first and amassed 203-9, with Kevin Pearce scoring his second innings of 70-plus and Wayne Jones 49.
The home team were bundled out for 159 in reply and were 79-9 at one stage, yet tailender Chris Gibbs smashed 53 with four 6s and five 4s to give some hope as Connor Bowen took 4-20 and Geraint James 2-19.
The game between Cresselly seconds and Lamphey was evenly poised before rain put a stop to proceedings as veteran batsman Richard Harries scored 43 not out in reply to Lamphey's 160-10 to help his team inch along to 92-6.
Lamphey's innings was based around a cultured innings of 55 by Peter McGilloway, while Ian Williams made his first appearance of the season to score 43 priceless runs, allowing the visitors to chalk up a competitive total.
Skipper Matthew Lewis led the way with 5-46, while Harry Thomas took 3-44 and Phil James 2-30.
Thomas, fresh from a superb innings of 88 the week before, lasted four balls before Stephen Vale brought one back against the wind to uproot his middle stump and together with Hywel Gibbs (3-21) and David Blackwell (2-35) the home side found the going tough, but Scott Arthur's 29 and Richard Harries's classy innings gave the home team hope before rain got in the way.
Carew seconds beat Pembroke by four wickets as the home side held the visitors to 146-8 in their 45 overs before passing it for the loss of six wickets.
Pembroke's knock was built around James Skeels's 31 and former Carew players Barry Evans, who hit 30, and Ceri Brace's 29. Rob Scourfield, Jonathan Harries and Sean Whitfield all took a brace of wickets for the home side.
Scourfield was in the runs as the home side eased to victory as he struck a commanding 37, but David Rees was the star of the show as he struck two 6s and five 4s in his unbeaten 56.
Saundersfoot were on course for their third win of the season before rain saved Haverfordwest seconds after the visitors to the Racecourse amassed 243-4 thanks to Simon Wood's 52 not out (his third consecutive half century) and Dai Davies's 48, with Phil Jones smashing a quickfire 46 and James Caine 36.

In division three, Narberth seconds' match at Camrose was evenly poised before rained intervened with the home side teetering on 87-7 in reply to the visitors' 105-10.
Saundersfoot seconds' match against Johnston seconds also fell foul of the weather, with the game on a knife edge after Saundersfoot scored 154-8 thanks to Mike Franklin's 25, Jack Franklin's 24 and Yannick Parker's 24. The visitors were 77-2 in reply.
Pembroke Dock had a day to forget at home to Herbrandston who romped to a 155 run win after scoring 209-3 and dismissing the home side for 54, with Kristan Bennett having a good all-round game scoring 68 and taking 6-15
In division four, there was no game for St. Clears against Neyland, while Kilgetty's match at Fishguard was postponed.
Carew thirds beat Burton seconds by two wickets after reaching 111-8 in reply to the home team's 108-10, while there was drama at Lawrenny as the game between their seconds and Haverfordwest thirds ended in a tie.
The home side scored 112-9 in their innings thanks to Steve Campbell's 41 and the visitors lost eight wickets in reply. Needing six off the last over and one off the last ball, batsman Mark Thorpe was run out after Lance Osbourne raced to the stumps to dismiss him. It was the third wicket for him of sorts after he bowled well taking 2-26.
Cresselly thirds lost to Hook seconds after batting first to score 146-7, an innings based around Ashley Smith's 41, Mathew Palmer's 33 and Selwyn Cole, who was coaxed out of retirement to score 25.
Richard Arthur took 4-16 for the home team, but Hook had little trouble in claiming the win as they only lost six wickets in the chase.
Hundleton raced to a 10-wicket win over Pembroke Dock seconds after the away side could only muster 103-9 in their allotted overs after Chris Stapleton took 5-16. Glyn Griffiths scored 30 for the Dock and John Davies 24, but Liam Richards and Scott Richards both scored unbeaten half centuries to help seal the emphatic win.
Pembroke seconds moved into second place after a five-wicket win at home to Stackpole seconds who scored 118 thanks to Hugh Davies's 29 after Don Patel, Nigel Phillips and Stan Davies all took two wickets.
In reply, Simon Smith-Wrench scored 29, Patel 46 and Spencer Harries 24 not out as they eased to a win.
Narberth thirds' home game against Camrose and Spittal also fell foul of the weather, while in division six, Kilgetty seconds lost to Hundleton seconds as they were bowled out for 99, with the visitors passing it for the loss of two wickets.
Mike May scored 49 for Kilgetty, while Steve Williams scored 45 not out and Riaan Strydon 31 for Hundleton, with Daniel McNiffe taking 4-13.
