The North Pembrokeshire Silver Valley run will be held on Sunday. Both the main run and the fun will commence from the Hermon playing field at 11 am and will predominantly be off-road runs.
The event is a fundraiser for the community playing field maintenance at Hermon.
The 10km run will run through secluded farm lanes and follow the old railway line, running past silver mines, chapels, Mansel Davies Haulage and through the villages of Glogue and Llanfyrnach.
The organisers have trophies for first male and female runners in the three categories for the main 10km race. Goody bags distributed at the finish line.
There will also be an opportunity for school children to run a special class in the fun run, as well as under 11-year-old and under seven-year-old races to be run at playing field site. Adults also welcome on the 4km.

In 2012, over 80 people took part in the two runs as the event has grown from strength to strength. See a film of the 2011 run on You Tube by typing in Cwm Arian Fun Run. Visit the Cwm Arian website for additional information on http://www.cwmarian.org.uk">www.cwmarian.org.uk
