Dinghy Racing - After the heavy rain brought in by storm Babet, weather was better for Sunday’s racing.
Mirror like conditions greeted the five boat fleet but within minutes of launching the wind switched on big time!
A WSW force 4, with shifting gusts up to force 6 came smashing through the race course expertly set by Race Officer Peter Randles.
Two races were held in the very changeable conditions, with some exhilarating reaches and a few spills.
Robin Wood and Dan Jackson finished ahead of the others, Robin in an RS Aero, and Dan in his Osprey.
Peter Rose unfortunately sustained damage to his Scorpion before the start and could not take part.
Clubhouse - A cruiser racing debriefing meeting will be held on Saturday, October 28 at 6.30 pm and the next commodores’ quiz will be on November 4 at 8 pm.
