The Long Course Weekend kicked off on Friday in spectacular fashion - with the return of the Wales Swim event on Tenby’s North Beach, with hundreds of competitors taking to the sea.
There were 1.2 and 2.4-mile options for those entering, in what must be one of the most picturesque surroundings across the world for an open water swim event.

Ahead of the swim, the LC Kinder children’s event took place on the beach.
LCW takes place in Tenby and its surrounding area from June 30 to July 2, and is the biggest multi-sport festival in Europe, attracting over 10,000 athletes and 35,000 supporters from 45 nations.
Pembrokeshire residents and visitors have been reminded of road closures in the south of the County this weekend as part of the event, with those planning to travel urged by Pembrokeshire County Council to plan accordingly.
