Congratulations to Heatherton IBC members Chris Bromham, Alan Whitehouse, Mike Jackson and John Roberts who were runners-up in the British Isles Championships rinks competition last week.

In the event, played at Stanley IBC, the quartet beat Scotland in the semi-finals, before being beaten in the final by the English winners, skipped by international Gary R. Smith.

Following the championships, John and Alan represented Wales playing in the BIIBC international series, with Alan gaining his first Welsh cap.
