First week back for the Trefloyne Manor Junior Golf Academy. After a little break, we were back swinging again! With it being half-term, still showing good numbers despite few being away.

As it was the first week back for all, we focused on going through all the clubs, getting back into the grind!

Starting of with the first of two boys groups we have running now, this week’s Golfer of the Week was awarded to Milo. Some smashing irons and drives earned him the award.

The second boys group winner of Golfer of the Week this time around went to Archi Noyce, clean of the turf with no tee hitting it clean of with the irons and some impressive drives earned him the award!

For the girls this week, it was like they never had a break, from the get go the were striking the ball excellently throughout the session. But by slim margins and with a drive that flew over 60 yards! This week’s Golfer of the Week for the girls went to Poppy.

First team boys worked on shot shaping, working the ball in all directions. Some very interesting results that will help them in their game.

Next academy session is tomorrow (Saturday), first boys group from 9-10 am, second boys group from 10-11 am, then the girls from 11 am - 12 noon.
