Wednesday, July 13, at Milford Haven Golf Club, saw the 2016 running of the Pembrokeshire Invitational, a competition open to senior members of any club in the county. There is a team trophy, the top five scores counting, and an individual trophy for the best single score.

The team trophy went to a club not a mile distant from Trefloyne, but you can no doubt read about that in another column.

The individual trophy went to Trefloyne’s Jack Zeraschi with a magnificent score of 45 points. On a high scoring day, the second scored 42 points, the third 39 points.

The upside of this is Jack’s first golf trophy, down side is a three-stroke cut in handicap.
