THE Saturday Swingers of Tenby Golf Club recently held their Annual Swingers’ Day.
The weather was kind and although there was a stiff south-westerly wind some excellent cards were returned.
Three tied with a top score of 36pts – Darren Thomas, Richard Noyce and Gary McNeilly.
However, Darren is the 2025 Swingers’ Day Champion by virtue of his better back six holes.
Chris Evans’ 18 points meant he took away the “best endeavour” prize. Apparently, he is quite fond of Spuddy.
The final of the inaugural Swingers’ Pairs KO Cup was also played on Swingers’ Day.

Phil Young and Juan Cruz were all square with Dai Cope and Mike Antony after 18 holes.
Juan then played the 19th hole superbly so he and Phil claimed the trophy.
The Ralph and Phil Johns Shield goes to the Swinger with the best 12 round aggregate for the year.
No less than six Swingers had an average of at least 36 points but Neil Thomas’ superb aggregate of 450 points (37.5 points average) pipped Darren Thomas’ 448 points.
Consequently, Neil is the 2025 Swingers Player of the Year. Unfortunately, he was away on holiday and could not attend Swingers’ Day. Nevertheless, he was presented with the shield via satellite.
