On Sunday, 15 golfers attended the next round of the Llewelyn Davies Shield played on a Stableford basis.

In very good weather, with the ball running well, there were some good scores recorded.

The best score of the round was 40 points by Fred Mallin. Ron Prior came second with 39 and joint third were Derek John and Alan Ewings on 34.

The current leader of the competition is Dave Green with a very respectable 147 points from the sum of his best four rounds so far.

Members are reminded that the singles draw for the Andrew Rees Cup will be made this Sunday, April 30. Anyone who has not entered and wishes to, should contact the secretary or captain before the draw.
