The 39th consecutive Tenby Golf Club Open week concluded last Friday with the ever popular Team of Four competition.

It was an excellent week once again and 800-plus competitors from over 90 different Golf Clubs were full of praise for the welcome, the friendly atmosphere and the superb condition of the course.

The weather for five of the six days was warm, sunny and calm. The early competitors on Friday morning were greeted with some uncharacteristic steady rain, which was great for the course, but not so pleasant for the early starters.

Club secretary David Hancock officially closed the week off on Friday night at the presentation evening.

Following some rousing and entertaining music provided by the Greenhill School Jazz Band, David Hancock thanked everyone involved in making the week such a success and looked forward to seeing them again for next year’s 40th consecutive Open Week.

Wednesday
