Last Sunday week saw the Gazelle Charity Darts Knockout tournament take place at Narberth RFC, with 56 entries on the day.

Losing semi-finalists were Matthew Thomas (Greenbridge) and Anthony Bowen (Ferndale), runner-up was Gavin Smith (Dingle), with the winner being Steve Poole (Narberth RAOB).

The main reason, however, was to raise funds for young Sonny Gibbard who suffers from Hurlers Syndrome. A magnificent total of £2,535 was raised altogether.

Many thanks to G.D. Harries and Sons who donated their Christmas raffle of £787, also Gavin Smith on behalf of the rifle shoot who donated their winnings of £400, also Dicky Morris, of the Dingle, whose raffle raised £571.
