St. Clears are out of this year’s Senior Cup after losing away in the first round.

The Saints travelled away to Clarbeston Road and came away on the losing side after suffering a 6-1 thrashing.

Steve Thomas scored the visitors’ only goal in a disappointing display against a team that plays in the same division.

Pendine were forced to travel, too, after being drawn away at Fishguard. The Gulls only had a penalty to show for their efforts, however, after Paul Langdon slotted one home from the spot.

The scheduled game between Kilgetty and Neyland was postponed, while Cosheston’s short trip to Lawrenny ended with a passage through to the next round after they won 1-0.

Narberth were due to play at Llangwm but their game too was postponed.

It was raining goals at Manorbier, but unfortunately for the home side the majority were scored by the visitors as Angle ended up 11-2 winners. Mike Ryder and Joe McEwan scored for the hosts, with the goals shared around for the victors.

Hundleton had the better of an epic game at Monkton Swifts, winning 7-5. Martyn Carroll struck twice for the Swifts, together with goals from Blake James and Tom Meiring, yet a Dylan Davies hat-trick together with a Jack Blunsden brace and one from Lloyd Wilson was enough for the away team to make it through to the next round.

Pennar Robins were in form, too, winning 6-1 at home against Prendergast Villa.

The hosts were in sparkling form and none more so than Jason Donahoe and Gideon Hockin, with both scoring twice in the one-sided rout and Luke Phillips and Jamie Groves the others.

In league action, Carew secured a fabulous result at home by beating the highly fancied West Dragons 4-1.

Scott Fearney, James Hinchliffe, Morgan Scourfield and Zac Rowell scored the goals for the hosts in their sparkling performance.

It wasn’t such a good day for the Rooks’ seconds, however, as they went down 11-0 away at Camrose in division three.

Better for Narberth seconds, however, as they beat Milford United seconds 5-1 thanks to an Aaron Keane hat-trick and one each for Carl Jones and Bruce Phillips.

A Colin Batley goal wasn’t enough to prevent St. Florence from going down at home to Goodwick seconds, with the hosts losing 3-1.

Defeat for Pennar Robins’ seconds, too, after a 9-1 loss at West Dragons.

In division four, Angle seconds went down to the heaviest defeat of the weekend, losing 15-0 at home to Llangwm seconds, while it was a better day for Lamphey seconds as they beat Fishguard Sports’ reserves 7-0.

Anthony Webb and Nico Morrison were in fine form, with both scoring twice, with the others coming from Sam Richards, Luke John and Charlie Sture.

Three goals from Wayne Boswell were enough for Monkton Swifts’ seconds to draw 3-3 at Neyland seconds, but it was a day of disappointment for Pennar Robins’ thirds after losing 4-0 at Solva seconds.

Joe Gouldingay and Mark Snelling scored for St. Clears seconds, yet they lost 3-2 at home to Broad Haven seconds with goals coming from Ollie Campbell and one each from Brett Evans and Elliot Goldsmith

In division five, Carew seconds drew 5-5 with Milford United thirds, Hundleton seconds were victorious against Camrose seconds, winning 3-2 thanks to goals from Connor Hay and Sam Sharp, while Lawrenny seconds beat Johnston seconds 3-1.

Rhys Allison and Stefan Sanford scored in Pembroke Boro seconds’ win over Letterston, while a brace from Matt Webb and one from Tyler Worrell and Nathan Farmalow was enough for Saundersfoot Seconds to see-off Milford Athletic seconds.
