Kilgetty came out on top in a nine-goal thriller against Pennar Robins on Saturday.
Playing at Bush Camp, Kilgetty took an early two-goal cushion as Oscar Miles (pictured scoring the opening goal) and Richard Tebbutt both found the back of the net, but back came the Robins as Sean Edmundson struck a superb brace.
Before the break though Henry Lawrence restored the visitors’ lead.
Into the second half and Pennar’s Phil Thompson levelled matters, only to see Lawrence score again to restore Kilgetty’s lead.
Adam Johns then put his side 5-3 up, before Thompson gave the hosts hope with his second strike of the game, but Kilgetty saw the game out to bag all three points.
Kilgetty fielded: Ben Evans, Jake Proctor, Sam Lewis, Oscar Miles, Richard Tebbutt, Owain Coombs, Lloyd Hughes, Callum Proctor, Henry Lawrence, Josh Bevan (Captain), Richard Cope. Subs: Billy Everett, Kyran Lewis, Adam Johns.
