Crymych Football Club committee are pleased to announce the fantastic support from the Football Association of Wales for the establishment of a new Women's Team at the Club.

The first training session will take place on Monday, July 14 at 6pm on the astro turf pitch behind Crymych Leisure Centre.

The initiative to set up the Women's team emerged from discussions with the Football Association of Wales, who supported Crymych Football Club in hosting a ‘Fan Zone’ at their clubhouse in Crymych Arms over the opening weekend of the Euros.

During the celebrations, the Heno TV programme was broadcast live on Friday evening and then Radio Wales and Radio Cymru broadcast on Saturday during the Wales match.

The Crymych Arms car park had been transformed into an outside ‘Fan Zone’ with live music, food and cocktail and mocktail bars.

There was a great turnout with many young women wishing to take part in the first training session.
