CLARBY Warriors continue to make a significant impact in pan-disability football, providing opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to enjoy the game in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Part of Clarbeston Road AFC, the Warriors have grown into a thriving football family with 45 registered players and new members joining regularly.

The squad caters for players aged between six and 60, welcoming people with a wide range of impairments and health conditions, including ADHD, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, heart conditions and mental health challenges.

The club currently runs four teams across different ability levels, ensuring that every player has the chance to develop, compete and enjoy football.

Players take part in monthly seven-a-side tournaments against teams from across Wales, including clubs from Llanelli, Bridgend, Swansea, Aberdare, Fishguard, Aberystwyth, Carmarthen and Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Clarby Warriors compete in the West Wales Pan Disability League and also take part in the annual national pan-disability tournament held in Aberystwyth.

The club has also enjoyed success on the representative stage, with five senior players earning the honour of representing Wales at a Mencap Pan Disability tournament against teams from other Home Nations and regions.

Training sessions are held every Tuesday from 7pm to 8pm on the 4G pitch at Pembroke Leisure Centre. A contribution of £14 covers four sessions, while newcomers are invited to attend a free taster session.

To make tournaments more accessible, the club arranges coach travel for players, helping parents and carers attend events with ease.

As participation continues to grow, Clarby Warriors are keen to welcome even more players to the club.
