Walking footballers at a seaside village have been given a boost from the Community Council.

Saundersfoot Community Council chairman Cllr Dean Ludlow was on hand last week to present new equipment to the Saundersfoot walking football team for the over 60s at the Regency Hall this morning.

The equipment - three indoor footballs, two packets of six yellow and orange vests, and a large kit bag were bought with a donation from Saundersfoot Community Council of which the team is hugely grateful.

Walking football is a great opportunity to meet, exercise and have fun.

Sessions take place at Saundersfoot’s Regency Hall between 11 am and 12 noon every Thursday morning.

The team plays for an hour, then have a coffee and a chat. If you are interested just turn up on a Thursday and give it a try.
