Tenby Golf Club’s Saturday Swingers held a Yellow Ball Team competition last Saturday afternoon.

The Swingers were lucky with the weather, not a drop of rain fell. There was a very stiff breeze but the wind was nowhere near as strong as previous and subsequent days.

Seven Teams of three took part with each Swinger having the pressure of playing the yellow ball every third hole.

Yellow ball points are doubled. However, if the Swinger with the yellow ball does not score – the Team has no points on that particular hole.

Nevertheless, some excellent Stableford scores were recorded, the leading ones being:-

1. Neil Webb, Jerry Whitehouse and Mike Anthony ... 115 pts* 2. Martin Morris, Gethin Evans and Charlie Dredge ... 115 pts. 3. Jon Webb, John Stenson and Tony Rogers ... 110 pts*

4. Peter James, Andy Cope and Richard Noyce ... 110 pts
