In their latest match, the Dragon Rifle Club shot against the Haverfordwest Pistol Club at Narberth Rugby Club.

In round one, the Rifle Club got a good start, taking a lead of 12.9 point into the next round. They increased this is round two by 21.3 points, giving them a match-winning margin of 34.2 points.

Scores were Dragon Rifle Club 323.6 and 315.4 for a final score of 639, with the Haverfordwest Pistol Club notching up 310.7 and 294.1 for a total of 604.8.

Top scorers on the night for the Pistol Club were: Martin Davies 91.1, Ben Morris 88.3, and Mark Simkins 88.1.

The Dragon Rifle Club top shots were: Julie Phillips 96.1, Emyr Davies 93.4, Vincent Brinton 92.2 points.Vincent was also the top junior, followed by Evan Davies 90.1 and Rhys Howells 84.

Next week, the club entertain Llewelyn Davies, the well-known firm of accountants, who cover the whole of West Wales.
