All racing dog owners are looking forward to the start of the Tenby Dog Racers West Wales Championship which is run over nine meetings in the summer and begins at the Snooty Fox Inn, Martletwy, near Narberth, tomorrow (Saturday, April 23).

Start will be at 3 pm, after registration and the measuring of all dogs for the coming season.

During the day, Tenby Dog Racers will present cheques to their charities for last year - Pembrokeshire Blood Bikes, Greenacre Rescue and Lluest Horse and Pony Trust.

With dogs from Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire taking part, it will be a great afternoon out for all the family.

Last year, most meetings had over 20 races and over 100 dogs taking part, and all is looking well for a good racing season ahead.
