FINALS NIGHT

Last Friday saw the climax to the season take place, with all the finals being played off. There were some fine darts thrown from many players, with some good close games on show. Results were as follows:

Ladies: Cheryl Jolly (RAOB A) 3 Jess Rees (Bush Robeston) 2.

Under 21s: Paul James (RFC Otters) 3 Domonic Morris (Dingle) 0.

Vice-captains: Gavin James (RAOB A) 3 Jamie Bate (RFC Otters) 1.

Captains: Michael Blake (RAOB A) 3 Stuart Hughes (Taf B) 0.

Doubles: Losing semi-finalists - Steven Elliott and Robert Thomas (Taf B), Clive Jones and Jamie Bate (RFC Otters); final - Colwyn Harts and Lyn Williams (Jeff A) 3 Paul Emmanuel and Andrew Evans (Whitland RFC A) 1.

Achievements on the night: Michael Blake 18, 2 x 20 darts and 180, Rory Jolly 180, Gavin James 19, 21 darts and 160 out, Steven Elliott 21 darts, Lyn Williams 180, Stuart Hughes 20 darts and 2 x 180, Dale Llewellyn 15, 20 darts and 136 out, Jamie Bate 21 darts and Phil Emmanuel 18, 19 darts, 119 out and 3 x 180.

All teams are asked to hand in their sheets with names at the Dingle this Monday, June 3, at 8 pm, preferably with payment for anyone attending this year's presentation evening which takes place next Saturday, June 8, at Narberth RFC.

The evening kicks off at 7.30 pm with the trophy awards, followed by a buffet, followed by live entertainment and disco 'til late. (Entry fee £10).
