The centenary year of the Pembrokeshire Football Referees' Society will be launched on Sunday, April 13, at Neyland Athletic Club, kicking-off at 7 pm.

Society chairman Jonathan Twigg said: "To commemorate this special occasion the society officers have co-ordinated a Centenary Gala Dinner, with FIFA and Premier League match official Mike Dean as one of the guest speakers.

"The dinner will be held at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel on Saturday, October 11, and tickets for the black tie occasion are priced at £25 per person. Seating has been arranged initially in tables of 10, but it is the intention to ensure that bigger or smaller groups can be allocated appropriately for the evening.

"It is the society's hope that those associated with sport, particularly football in Pembrokeshire, will celebrate this occasion alongside the current and former referees who have contributed to the success of the game in Pembrokeshire over this period."
