Manorbier Seconds recorded another win on Saturday, but this was different to last week. Llangwm had only lost one game all season and had only conceded seven goals in that time. Everyone knew it was going to be a tough game, but Manorbier hit them with some fine football.

Manorbier started with Rob Sawyer scoring a cracking opener. Llangwm hit back and it was 1-1; again Sawyer struck with a deadly touch past a helpless Llangwm 'keeper. Half-time came after a good half for Manorbier.

Underway again, there was a quick goal from Llangwm, but Manorbier dug in and made it 3-2 after a goalmouth melee resulted in a goal by Joe Mckeon.

Again Manorbier were on top and Mike Ryder rounded the 'keeper and made it 4-2.

Again Llangwm came back with a reply. With a nervy 20 minutes on the clock, Llangwm huffed and puffed, but could not blow the back four down. It should be noted that the combined age of the Manorbier back four is 182.

Peter Horsley and Colin Wherth have been rolling back the years of late, along with Scottish import Darren Gibson, 'Lanky', in the middle, who has turned into an opponent's worst nightmare. The fourth member, the big 'O', Sam Ormond, has been a great signing and had an excellent game.

An excellent performance by Manorbier and on they go up the table.
