A Tenby trio came out tops at the Bowling Club’s Gold Cup week - with two Sharks (and an adopted Shark!) snapping up the trophies.

In the Gold Cup final, John Roberts pipped Tenby teammate Peter Day to collect the top prize for the second time.

David Kingdon then beat John in another all Tenby Bowling Club clash in the Silver Bowl final.

There is a familiar name - Williamson - on the Five Arches trophy, with winner Finley setting out to emulate his dad, Tenby bowling legend Lee, by collecting his first silverware here, with Lee and proud mum Julie and brother Dylan, another bowler, looking on.

Once again, so many people pulled together to make the week a resounding success, and our thanks go out to all the volunteers, bar staff, players, spectators, and sponsors Molson Coors for making it so special.

Planning for the special Tenby Bowling Club Gold Cup Centenary Tournament, to be held this time next year, starts this week!
