The Saundersfoot green was officially opened for the summer last Saturday on a sunny afternoon with the first wood being bowled by the Chairman of the Community Council Mr Dean Ludlow.

He was welcomed by Saundersfoot Bowling Club chairman Myrddin Dennis and president Ann Lewis who together with Mr Ludlow wished all members a successful and healthy season.

Ann also thanked the ladies and gentlemen who had worked in the past few weeks preparing everything and also wished Kath Blayney a happy year of office as president of the West Wales Ladies Bowling Association.

The Club is looking for a new greenkeeper and anyone interested can contact any member of the committee.
