The Pembrokeshire County Bowling Association held their competition finals last weekend at Pendine, the home of this year’s President Arwel Edwards.

Saundersfoot Bowling Club were well represented and won three titles.

First up on the Saturday morning was the Mixed Pairs final between defending champions Kath Blayney and Steve Dick against Katie Thomas and Nico Setaro from Whitland.

With the pairings evenly matched, it took an extra end before Kath and Steve emerged victorious.

In the afternoon, Alan Brain and Dai Davies were trying to again win a previously held title, this time the senior pairs event and in a thrilling finale, won by one shot after a close measure decided the outcome.

Finally on Sunday, the senior fours saw Alan, Dai, Myrddin Dennis and Steve Dick retain their title against Nigel Davies, Mick Jones, Colin Wynn and Steve Reese.
