Forty players took part in the annual Captains v Presidents match on a dry and sunny Easter Saturday at the Memorial Park.

The mixed teams comprised of experienced bowlers plus a smattering of new members making their debut on the hallowed turf.

There was plenty of good natured banter throughout the afternoon with everyone happy to be back playing Bowls after the winter break. For the record the match ended in an honourable draw.

The next fixture is on Saturday, April 15 with a Probables v Possibles match.
