HEATHERTON Indoor Bowls Club has celebrated a successful season, by finishing off with a fantastically competitive finals week, which saw many members compete to take their claims as club champion.

The finals week took part between 24-28 March, with the games playing out in the evenings spread over five days.

Singles results: Men - John Roberts; Ladies - Steph Amos; Over 60s - Brent Davies; Under 25s - Rhys Day; Ladies Under 25s - Katie Dickinson.

Pairs results: Men - John Roberts and Mike Jackson; Ladies - Steph Amos and Angela Nichols; Over 60s - David Kenniford and Ken Davies.

Triples results: Men 0 John Roberts, Mike Jackson and David Kingdon; Over 50s - John Roberts, Mike Jackson and David Kingdon; Ladies - Angela Nichols, Melissa Harrison and Steph Amos; Mixed - Ashley Hooper, Angela Nichols and Mike Day

Men’s Rinks: John Roberts, Mike Jackson, Paul Diment and Ryan Thomas. Over 60s Rinks: Peter Hooper, Steve Ford, John Lewis and Graham Morris

The winter league has come to and end and the club wishes all members a successful outdoor season.

Heatherton Indoor Bowls will continue their Summer league every Wednesday evening at 6pm, open to all members and new members who would like to give it a go.
