The finals of this year’s men’s county finals took place over last weekend at Saundersfoot Bowling Club, the home of the county president Paul Blayney.
All 11 finals were keenly-contested with the players supported by the many spectators who had attended to cheer on their favourites.
Umpiring duties were shared by Doug Silcox and Collette Bethwaite and Neil Hensman, Nev Ruff, Dai Davies and Dave Summers acted as markers for the singles finals.
Meals and refreshments were provided by the ladies of the club and president Paul afterwards thanked everybody who had helped throughout, particularly Dave Summers, of Haverfordwest, who had organised all the tournaments throughout the season.
All the finalists were congratulated for their achievements and the winners were wished success when they represent Pembrokeshire at the Welsh finals next month at Llandrindod Wells.
