The Welsh Women's Bowling Association's junior international team came nailbitingly close to winning the Home International Series at Parc Howard, Llanelli, recently. The Under 25 team, who chalked up wins against Ireland and Scotland, were beaten in their final game by the eventual winners, England. Pictured are local representatives from left: Gemma Amos (Saundersfoot BC), Hannah Thomas (from Whitland, but now bowling at Port Talbot) and Ysie White (Tenby BC), with the runners-up shield. Due to her age, this was Hannah's last junior series, having been a member of the team since 2004.
