Goodwick United replaced Narberth at the top of Division One on Saturday after the Bluebirds failed to beat a young and determined Pennar outfit at Bush Camp.

Narberth started Jason Jones in goal, with regular 'keeper John Durbridge suspended and Dorian Davies returned after a long lay-off with injury.

The best chances of the first half fell to Narberth, with Ashley Williams and Jordan Williams missing good opportunities.

In the second half, Narberth continued to press, but were lacking in the final third! Both sides had a penalty claim turned down and towards the end, Narberth substitute and player/manager Matthew Price forced the save of the game out of the Pennar goalkeeper.

Price said afterwards: "To win games of football, you have to take your chances."

Tomorrow (Saturday), Narberth host West Dragons.
