Whitland's poor run of form continued with a home loss to Beddau by 17 points to six on Saturday..

Beddau took an early lead with a penalty by winger Tom Benjamin, before Whitland outside-half Jonathan Thomas levelled with a well-taken kick.

Again Benjamin added his team's second penalty, before running in an unconverted try to give Beddau an 11 points to three lead at the break.

Thomas added his and Whitland's second penalty early in the second half to cut the visitors' lead to five points, but try as they did, the Borderers failed to break down Beddau's stubbon defence.

Benjamin kicked two more penalties to give his side the win and take his own tally to 17 points for the afternoon, while Whitland remain rooted to the foot of the table.
