Everything is now falling into place and the excitement is building, as the opening round is almost upon us, for the 2023 British Autograss Series (BAS) Championships, proudly hosted by The South Wales Autograss League at Red Roses.

Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25, will see the various classes within National Autograss Racing, with stiff competition throughout, race hard and fast on the local Castle Lloyd Racetrack, near Red Roses, SA33 4PT.

The cars will range from standard 1000cc Minis to the more powerful horsepowered cars of V8 chevys, along with openwheel specials – across all categories of Men/Ladies and Juniors racing.

Over 600 competitors are expected to start arriving from all parts of the UK and Ireland from Thursday, June 22, when the gates open at the track.

The racing commences at 9 am on Saturday and Sunday, it will consist of three Qualifying Heats for all drivers, with the top 8 in each class gaining their place into the grand finals held Sunday afternoon, where they’ll then go head to head, battling flat out at the top end of the points tally in British Championship standings!

The South Wales Autograss League, is compiled by five Clubs - Carmarthen (CM), Pembrokeshire Autograss Club (PAC), Pembroke Haven and District (PHD), Swansea (S) and Teifi (TA).

Gates for Round 1 of the BAS championship will open on June 22 at 2 pm (Entry for Thursday is Pre-Payment only).

Camping is available onsite (ast £10), all amenities will be available – drinking water, catering vans, evening entertainment, tradestands etc

Prices - £30 Full Weekend for all adults and junior racers; £15 Full weekend for non-racing 12-16 year olds, OAP’s and Disabled spectators.

Under 12s Free.

The league has licences available within the clubs for Men/Lady Racers, Juniors 10-16 boys/girls, mechanics or members.
