Saundersfoot Seconds took another huge step towards safety in their fight to avoid relegation to Division Five, coming back from a goal down to beat Monkton Swifts by five goals to three last Thursday night. Having gone behind, Saundersfoot then rallied and either side of half-time scored goals to give them a 3-1 lead. Monkton then pulled a goal back and after Saundersfoot scored a hotly-disputed fourth goal, the Monkton goalkeeper was dismissed by the referee. At this point, everyone present thought Saundersfoot would go on to win comfortably, but within a couple of minutes Monkton scored again to bring the score to 4-3. In the dying minutes, Saundersfoot scored their fifth goal, which they thoroughly deserved on their evening's performance. The star of the evening was Geoff Marsh who scored a hat-trick. Unfortunately, they couldn't follow it up on Saturday when, although Geoff Marsh was on target again, they went down 3-1 to Henbrandston Seconds.
