I write to complain about the proliferation and succession of advertising notices which are attached to the railings opposite White Lion Street, Tenby. My complaint is twofold.

First, the notices obscure the view of the North Bay and the harbour from residents in Paxton Court. This is a view which is regarded as one of the finest in Wales and certainly very popular with the visitors to Tenby.

Secondly, the notices present a safety hazard because they are sometimes very large, presumably to attract the attention of motorists as they approach this very busy T-junction. There have been several accidents here in the past.

I have written to Tenby Town Council concerning these matters, but I have been informed by the Clerk to the Council that they have no jurisdiction over this.

The complaint is now with Pembrokeshire County Council.
