Thirty young people were stopped by police during a special operation on Friday night.

The Tenby section neighbourhood policing team carried out high visibility patrols, while other officers went undercover in a bid to tackle anti-social behaviour in the town.

Alcohol was confiscated from the young people and their details were taken and referred to the anti-social behaviour officers.

One driver on South Beach was issued with a section 59 warning notice for using his vehicle to commit anti-social behaviour.

PCSO Idwal David said: "Our drinking on the street culture is growing again due to the summer months and we are proactively tackling it.

"This operation ran from 6.30 pm to midnight and involved all the Tenby Neighbourhood Policing Team working with the special constabulary and it will be something we will being doing regularly."
