Tenby Youth Forum recently completed a sponsored walk from Tenby to Saundersfoot , raising £200 towards sending Daniel Burrows on a holiday of a lifetime, and to provide for Daniel after his treatment for cancer ends, so that he can live life as normally as possible.
Tenby Youth Forum is one of 12 forums operating throughout Pembrokeshire, which are run in connection with Pembrokeshire County Council, the Jigsaw Children and Youth Partnership, and the Prince's Trust.
Tenby Youth Forum meets every Thursday between 5.45 – 7pm at Tenby Youth Club, and now has 15 regular members, who express their views on local issues, agencies and services that impact on their lives, whilst also having fun! Any young person between the age of seven to 25 is welcome to come along.
Tenby Youth Forum themselves recently received a boost, kindly being sponsored for a t-shirt and shorts kit by N.D.Toy and Partners, Insurance Consultants and Independent Financial Advisors.
The kit will be worn on any activities or events organised by the forum locally, and for sports events between the other forums in Pembrokeshire.
