Friday evening was the night for crabbing, with 52 members excitedly setting off for Carew Mill Pond. Oh! Very little water! Still, the crabbing went on and wherever there was water there were crab lines!

The members of Carew Youth Club had a great evening! Some were covered in mud or wet - but happy.

They managed to collect 168 crabs (which were safely returned to the water) and even had a bit of competition from their friends from Pembroke Ferry Chapel who collected 48 crabs (shame!).

Soon it was time to return to the Youth Club for well-deserved refreshments and hot buttered toast as the sun set over Carew Castle. A good evening was enjoyed by all.
