Saundersfoot’s Regency Hall venue has unveiled its magical, one-of-a-kind Pom Pom Christmas Tree - alongside a special competition for charity.
What began back in February as a simple idea has grown into something truly magical. Week after week, a wonderful group of people gathered on Tuesdays (and many more crafted at home!) to make pom poms – some learning the skill for the very first time, others simply enjoying the chance to meet new friends over a cuppa.
Together, they created thousands of pom poms, each one stitched with love and care.
“A huge thank you to everyone who made this project possible. Together, we’ve built more than just a tree, we’ve built memories, friendships, and hope,” said Emma Price general manager at the Regency Hall.
“Thanks to the incredible support of Pembrokeshire Engineering, who sponsored and built the frame, our vision has come to life.
“After hours of counting, designing, and assembling, the tree now stands proudly – a dazzling display of teamwork, creativity, and community spirit.”
Competition Alert - If you think you can guess how many pom poms are on the tree; for just £1 per entry, you could win a beautiful hamper if your guess is the closest.
“Every entry brings not only the fun of joining in but also the chance to win a prize. Most importantly, all proceeds will go directly to Children in Need, helping bring light, warmth, and hope to children who need it most,” continued Emma.
“So as we remember the Nativity—the story of love, generosity, and new beginnings—we invite you to take part in this festive challenge. Count with your heart, make your guess, and know that every penny raised will help make a difference.”
The tree will be on display throughout December and into January – so pop down to the Regency Hall, take a guess, and be part of something truly special, as well as showing support for Children in Need with your donation.
