Whitland Youth entertained Irish visitors from Donegal County on Easter Monday in an entertaining game. The young Borderers took an early lead with a try from centre Alex Pickersgill converted by James Stephenson, but Donegal levelled the scores with a try by centre John Anthony McFadden which was converted by flanker Grant Wattleworth. Whitland took the lead before the interval with an unconverted try by lock Carl Smith. In the second half, the Borderers enjoyed playing with the wind at their backs and scored three more converted tries. The first was scored by prop Rhys Thomas and then outside-half Jonathan Thomas scored two cracking tries. James Stephenson converted all three tries scored in the second half.
