A planning application proposing a change of use of the former Squibbs photographic studio and offices located at Napleton House, Warren Street, into a family dwelling, has been withdrawn, members of Tenby Town Council have heard.
The application [Reference: NP/25/0568/FUL) was due to be considered by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority’s development management committee.
Local councillors and Tenby Civic Society had recently voiced concerns over proposed design changes to the historic four-storey building, which was home to Squibbs Studios, and was sold at auction for £240,000 during the summer of 2025.
Town councillors agreed that the building was important to Tenby’s history, and that its character should be retained. They also considered its heritage element, and it was felt there should be no need to significantly alter the frontage of the building.
