THE Young Farmers Clubs movement has a proud record of raising money for worthy causes and, in practical ways, supporting a wide range of charity appeals.

Their latest efforts have been directed towards the Noah's Ark fund to help provide a Children's Hospital in Wales.

At a Pembrokeshire Federation function, held recently at the Fishguard Bay Hotel, Brian Harries, vice-chairman of the county's Noah's Ark Appeal committee, received a cheque for £2,627.54, representing the efforts of seven clubs.

Our photograph shows Rhiannon Llewelyn, of the Llawhaden Young Farmers Club, presenting Mr. Harries with a cheque for £320.
